Listed is a Lot of 2 Antique Victorian Dress Capes For Repair/Restoration or Steampunk Projects. The coat/cape lot is size small (poss. med.). Both of the coats/capes will need repair/restoration. The velveteen cape will need repair to the liner and stitches on one of the layers to hold it in place (both sides). It is in good condition otherwise. The other cape is made of a satin type fabric; it is fragile and has a few tears also the trim needs to be reattached in places. I believe this cape would be better for display since the fabric is very thin and would tear easily, but you be the judge. The coats/capes are being sold as is/as found for repair or restoration; they have not been cleaned or altered in any way. The lot has been stored for many years and are a bit musty smelling (non-smoking house). The photos were taken in bright sunlight; the capes are a bit darker than they appear in the photos.
