Civil War Era Victorian Tea Two Pc Dress Antique With Hoop Skirt Slip

This is a wonderful Civil Ware Era Antique Tea Dress in amazing condition for its age. There is some wear on the seams (please see pictures)picture 6 shows a small area on the sleeve where the fabric is splitting. It almost looks like someone may have tried to wear the dress or repair the dress (some hand stitching on the waist)however most of the hooks and eyes are all in place...I am not a seamstress so I was not sure how to fix the velvet in the front bodice but there is a lovely tapestry style piece that goes around the neck area and is beautiful (picture 11) as you know I can only put so many pictures on e-bay so if you require more please e-mail me and I will send them to you. The hoop slip is seperate from the skirt but is in very good condition.

Re-enactment.

The dimensions or measurements of the dress are as follow. The top is a 34" bust, the waist is 25", on across the back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam the dress is 12" across, the sleeves are 21" long and from the bottom of the round neckline to the top of the ruffle the top is 14" long the ruffle is 5". The skirt itself measures 41" long.
