Antique Victorian Long Petticoat Slip With Gorgeous Lace – Excellent!

This antique Victorian petticoat slip is so lovely, made with a fine cotton lawn fabric and exquisite lace that adorns the bottom hem.  There is one 14" panel on the front of the skirt that splits and joins the lace hem, and attached are two lovely taupe colored bows.   Three other 7" panels are repeated at different intervals around the skirt, and each of these has one pretty bow attached.   This beautiful petticoat slip is in excellent condition, with no holes or tears.  The lace is in wonderful condition, except for two very tiny areas that are slightly frayed.   There is very slight staining in the back, where the button closes.  An absolutely lovely, romantic piece!   I purchased it recently at an estate sale, and have a
number of beautiful pieces that all have similar lace and styling.  Some have the initials embroidered on the garment, and everything from this estate was superb
quality.   It is probably a size medium, and the measurements are approximately as follows:

Waist - 27"
Length - 38"
Width, bottom of skirt - 37"
