A gorgeous antique Victorian, Edwardian tea dress with pretty handmade? lace inserts. The dress has a long sweeping full hemline, 3/4 length sleeves and tiny crochet buttons that close down the side of the bodice and part way down the skirt.

FABRIC ~ ~~ ~ I believe it's a linen? lawn

MEASUREMENTS ~~ 54" length, 16" shoulder to the top of the waistband, 36" bust, 26" waist, 47" free hip, 16 1/4" across the drop shoulder seams, 17 1/2" sleeve length, 90" hemsweep.

CONDITION ~ The dress is in amazing antique condition, the fabric is sound and strong. There's a few minor faults like ~ a tiny pinhead size hole on one shoulder ~ a small tear in the fabric by one of the buttons on the skirt (tear is hidden when the button is closed) ~ a small stress tear by one underarm (all of the above shown in the last photos). Also, there's a small tear on the edge of the hemline and the dress is a bit dusty/dirty from storage but I didn't see any stains or dirty spots. A beautiful antique dress that's MUCH NICER in person.
